Brad's Bio
Brad Flora is a Chicago-based journalist and web developer. He is the publisher and founder of The Windy Citizen. He attended high school at St. Joseph Public High School in St. Joseph, Mich., graduated from Princeton with honors in 2004 and earned a Master's degree in journalism from the Medill Schol of Journalism, where he focused on new media journalism, helped design a hyperlocal newspaper for Zeeland, Mich. and served as a 2007 Carnegie-Knight Journalism Fellow. He started The Windy Citizen as a way to dig deeper into the city he's always considered to be the capital of his part of the country and to help open up a media market that seemed awfully narrow by building a platform for new voices to reach a local audience.
