The second Chicago Dancing Festival has announced its complete lineup for the two free programs to be presented Aug. 18 and 20 -- a Chicago Dancing Festival production in association with the Museum of Contemporary Art and the City of Chicago-Millennium Park.
The "20th Century Masters" program slated for 7:30 p.m. Aug. 18 at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance, 205 E. Randolph, will include works by these five choreographers:
• George Balanchine: The pas de deux "Rubies," from "Jewels," to music by Igor Stravinsky, danced by Yuka Iino and Ronnie Underwood of Oregon Ballet Theatre; and "Tzigane, to music by Maurice Ravel, danced by members of the Suzanne Farrell Ballet, which is making its Chicago debut.
• Jose Limon: "The Moor's Pavane: Variations on a Theme of Othello," to the music of Henry Purcell, performed by members of the Limon Dance Company.
• Martha Graham: "Cave of the Heart," to the music of Samuel Baber, danced by members of the Martha Graham Dance Company.
• Paul Taylor: "Cloven Kingdom," to music of Corelli and Henry Cowell and Malloy Miller, dance by the Joffrey Ballet.
• Lar Lubovitch: "Concerto Six Twenty-Two," a work set to Mozart, in its Chicago premiere, performed by the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company
