Daley's had enough with 'Hatfields and McCoys' in Springfield

Mayor Daley today likened his feuding fellow Democrats to the “Hatfields and McCoys” and warned that the “lack of trust” in Springfield threatens to undermine Chicago’s legislative agenda.

With time running out in the Spring legislative session, Daley turned up the heat on Gov. Blagojevich, House Speaker Michael J. Madigan (D-Chicago) and Senate President Emil Jones (D-Chicago) to “put aside their differences” and unify the General Assembly, which is under Democratic control.
