Midway Airport, home to leaky roofs, clogged toilets and sporadic air-conditioning until a renovation was completed in 2001, was named No. 1 Tuesday in a customer satisfaction survey among medium-size U.S. airports.
The top ranking in the poll conducted by J.D. Power and Associates perhaps says as much about the fickle attitudes of air travelers as it does about the surging popularity of Midway as one of the nation's fastest-growing airports.
