During Tuesday's "Ellen" show—the one recorded Saturday alongside Michigan Avenue—you'll see Robin Williams clowning, two former " American Idol" contestants crooning and the titular host cracking jokes, leading games with audience members, and dancing—endless dancing.

Should you tune in to NBC-Ch. 5 at 3 p.m., you'll see Ellen DeGeneres weave through the aisles, where 1,300 audience members shimmy along with her, until she gets to one fuddy-duddy standing still, his hands behind his back. The host stops, mockingly adopts his stoic pose, pouts her lips, gets a laugh, then moves on.
